Welcome to Slough Hindu Mandir. Slough Hindu Mandir was built by the Slough Hindu Cultural Society - formally opened in 1981 - it was the first purpose-built Hindu Temple in the British Isles. The purpose of worship in the mandir is to ‘have darshan’ of (or see) the gods and goddesses. Adda in Slough is bringing its ‘Holi ritual back with a splash’ on Saturday (March 23) with a Holi party at Upton Scout Hall. The event will run from 1pm until 5.30pm and features a food menu of fried rice, daal, mutton kosha, paneer masala and dessert.
