Initially, established as a Centre for Chinese and Japanese Studies, it subsequently grew to include Korean Studies as well. Everyone in JNU comes out from their hostels/residences and assemble in Jhelum/Ganga lawns!It is probably the greatest gathering in the campus. The sight is a wonderful spectacle.
