ISKCON of DC, located in Potomac, sits on 12 acres of beautiful forested land. After years of celebration, the Holi Festival at the ISKCON temple in Washington D.C. is now so embedded in the local culture that it has become an annual family tradition for many. This year over 4,000 people attended the event, also dubbed Festival of Colors, on Saturday May 4 th. On Sunday, March 12, visit a vast Holi celebration with campfires (like the ones lit on Choti Holi), color throwing, shopping, henna tattoos, a bouncy castle, and more. Plus, dine on all-day dosas, mango lassi, badam milk, and other Indian snacks. Holi will come to Union Market District on Tuesday, March 25, starting at 6:00 p.m. This year’s celebration includes colors and T-shirts. Get ready for an evening filled with authentic Indian flavors, great music, dancing, cocktails and festivities. Registration is recommended but not required.
